It took another deletion and recreation but the comments are now available on the blog. I'm not exactly sure what happened but it's working again. I did retain the last post because it is quite important. Jarrod is going to the all stars for the first time in his Little League career.
His first game is Friday, June 26, at 5:30 MST.
When I got my new BlackBerry, I was told that T-Mobile now requires a data plan when you buy a new data device from T-Mobile. I signed up for the $20 BlackBerry plan which includes unlimited data and e-mail on the device. A nice upside to that is the data plan allows me to use the BlackBerry as a modem so I can connect the BlackBerry to my laptop (via USB cable) and access the web through the Blackberry. That will come in handy when I'm with Jarrod at practice.
I guess that's about it for now.
Hope everyone had a good Father's day.
See ya, for now.

Jarrod Made All Stars
Jarrod made the Minors All Stars this year. He really should have made it last year but due to unfortunate political situations, he was excluded.
Jarrod had a pretty good season this year. He walked a BUNCH, shows his discipline at the plate. Got hit a bunch too. That got him scared a little and there were times he didn't want to go up to bat because he was afraid he'd get hit.
But we're not gonna go there.
He actually wanted to pitch this year. I guess that's good. He had been a little nervous to pitch because he was scared he was going to hit a lot of batters but once he found that he had a knack for hitting the strike zone, he was OK with pitching. He was about the best pitcher on the team for the better part of the season. The only one that didn't have a ton of wild pitches.
I'm not sure what to expect for this All Star team. I've heard that there will be daily practices. Ugh! We'll see how things go.
In other news, for some reason or another, the blog is not allowing comment posts. I've tried a bunch of fixes (including changing the template of the blog) but nothing has worked. I might have to take the blog down again and reboot it. Again.
Still doing the school thing. I'm doing good in my classes. Getting A's and what-not.
Yeeeeaaaahhhhh....
